Why we wrote to you
We research established, well-run UK companies using public information, principally the Companies House register. If you have heard from us, it is for one of two reasons: a committed buyer has asked us to find businesses like yours, or we are getting to know a sector we work in for the long term, with no buyer attached and no agenda. Either way, you were approached individually, never as part of a blast.
What it is not
Nothing is being sold to you, and nothing is assumed about your plans. Most owners we contact are not looking to sell, and a reply commits you to nothing. We do not value businesses, we do not negotiate, and owners never pay us anything, for anything.
If you are curious
Reply to the letter, or email hello@twentyfouros.com. What follows is one confidential conversation: who is buying, why your company stood out, and whether it is worth a direct introduction. If it is not for you, that is the end of it. If it is, we introduce you with your consent and you take it from there with your own advisers.
If you would rather not hear from us
Tell us once and it is permanent. Email hello@twentyfouros.com with the word remove and your company name, and we will not contact you again, for any client. Where your details came from and your rights are set out in our privacy notice.
